A small but feature rich File Manager, this is the 'one-stop' File Manager that you will need for your android phone.

Well, to put it in simple words, Astro does for Android what your 'My Computer' does on your Windows machine.

I think I have been using this app for about 2 years now, and I must say it has all the functionalities that you need. Right from basics of managing your Internal memory and SD card, to cloud storages and Network drives, Astro has you covered.

Home Screen

Thats the Astro home screen. What I love about this is that in spite of bundling many functionalities together, this still has a very simple interface and a very easy navigation control. As you can see in the screenshot, there are the usual groups available for Pictures, Music, Videos ,etc and also you have access to the Internal Storage and Local Network directly.

There is also the side drawer that opens up that gives you other basic features.

Network Screenshot

Connect to a WiFi network, and viola..

You see all your windows shared drives directly in Astro. You have a network hard disk? That is visible directly in the network locations.

The screenshot here shows you a network harddrive (Western Digital MyBookLive) being shown directly to you in Astro.

This is actually a very cool feature. You can just copy-paste content from your windows PC to your phone just by sharing it, the way you would do it from one PC to another over a network.

This is one of my most used features.

Cloud Screenshot

Add Cloud services, and you can connect your Box, Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook and Microsoft One Drive directly into Astro.

Well, all the others except facebook are Storage drives where you can store data directly.

When connected to facebook, you can see your Facebook Albums, Photos and Videos directly into your phone... just like a file manager.

Everything in Astro is a copy-paste just like you would do it on your PC from one folder to another.

Something for the Techies here.

Click on 'Add' in Storage allows you to add FTP or SFTP server and SMB server details.

Once done, you can see the server contents just like a file manager, and you can copy paste files from the FTP server into your phone just with a copy-paste.

Not many applications on my Windows PC could do this.

With so many complex features being said, I dont even want to talk about the usual 'Recent' and 'Favourites'. They are present everywhere and Astro is no exception.

This is truly a file manager where you can do almost everything - from simple to complex. You should give it a try, it is available for free on the Google Play Store.
